The Outsider is a fantasy for grown-ups where theatre and film come together by means of magic, technology and clownery. The performance evokes the visual style of the silent films by Charles Chaplin and Buster Keaton, simultaneously taking them into a contemporary format – in full colour and stunning 4D!
The Outsider employs comedy, tragedy and absurd situations to make spectators reflect on the modern human being's way of living and alienation from life. The Outsider is magician Janne Raudaskoski's second solo production for theatre.
Wally Watthead and His Lost Glow
Wally Watthead and His Lost Glow is magician Janne Raudaskoski's experiential magic theatre performance for the entire family.
The play takes place on the night desk of a girl called Polly – the home to a mobile phone, a night lamp and a picture of Polly. Everything is fine until one day Wally Watthead, the night lamp, loses his glow. Simon Simcard, a smartphone, helps Wally regain his glow, and the magic of the play is based on their adventures together. Among a variety of other tricks, Wally Watthead is seen levitating in the air and shrinking himself to miniature size. The chemistry between the two buddies is, however, put to test when Polly Picture – whom Wally is rather fond of – comes to life.

Big old Moon looks down from the sky and sees another moon reflected in a pond. Although nobody knows about it, the Moon is also inhabited by Moonboy. Moon asks Moonboy to visit Earth and bring him the moon that shines so brightly in the water. "So long", and Moonboy jumps off to space...
Moonboy, a collaboration between dance theatre Raatikko and Taikateatteri 13, is based on a children's book written and illustrated by the Danish author Ib Spang Olsen. Moonboy is a colourful combination of the skill and expertise of both companies: it features dance, magic, flying across the air and diving into underwater worlds.
